Athenix Solutions Group is looking for Cloud Engineers in the Reston, VA area for a variety of roles to support software and data engineering with tools, culture, and process changes to enable rapid and stable delivery of applications and technologies. Do you have skills and experience in some of the following areas? + Create and maintain software code and troubleshoot application production issues within the full-stack of web development, from front-end view to back-end data and server issues. + update application datasets with new data from providers. + Create mappings and ingestion procedures for new datasets into Elasticsearch. This will include the ability to programmatically manipulate JSON, MS Excel, Sequel, csv, xml, and other data formats to aide in data ingestion processes. + Provision, configure, and apply security updates as needed to cloud-based AWS server instances. + Develop and test new application features in NodeJS, Vue, React, and other web development tools to accommodate the addition of new data from various sources. + Assist with documentation preparation and application requirements to meet security approvals for test and production environments. + Answer technical questions appropriately, for both technical and non-technical audiences. + Be flexible to assist in multiple project areas as needed, as priorities shift. **Minimum Requirements** + Active Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph is required + **_Junior Level_** – Bachelor’s degree or related field, and 0-3 years’ experience + **_Mid Level_** – Bachelor’s degree or related field, and 4-7 years’ experience + **_Senior Level-_** Bachelor’s degree or related field, and 8-11 years’ experience + **_Expert/SME Level_** - Bachelor’s degree or related field, and 12+ years’ experience **Desired Skills** **Skills and demonstrated knowledge that are highly desired, but not required, to perform the work include:** + Demonstrated experience working in cloud environments, other than AWS, deploying and maintaining web applications in development, test, and production environments. + Demonstrated experience with NodeJS and MEAN, ELK or similar stack. + Demonstrated experience programming with front-end Web Framework such as Vue.js or React. + Demonstrated experience collecting, translating, and modeling sets of data for analysis in ElasticSearch. + Demonstrated experience developing and deploying applications in Windows and Unix operating systems. + Demonstrated experience with requirements analysis and definition. + Demonstrated experience with small-team collaboration and independent work on broadly defined requirements.
