BSW Rehab is looking for a self-motivated Athletic Trainer to provide care at outreach sporting events. The Athletic Trainer/WorkStrategies Specialist is responsible for the delivery of the continuum of WorkStrategies prevention services and athletic training services on site with the client. This position is an integral part of the injury prevention and health promotion team with City of Fort Worth. This position provides WorkStrategies services to City of Fort Worth employees.

Deliver athletic training services in coordination with physicians and outpatient physical therapists as part of pre and post injury care plans.Domains I-VDeliver WorkStrategies prevention services at assigned locations. Prevention services include, but are not limited to:WorkStrategies OnSite program:Advanced Early Symptom InterventionNew Hire TrainingReturn to WorkMovement AssessmentsPreventative exercise prescriptionBody mechanics/behavior audits Wellness coachingWorkRisk, WorkStation, and WorkTask AnalysisWorksite Education programsPrepare and complete appropriate documentation for services listed aboveFacilitate regular communication with clients for the purposes of assisting with relationship development and program reviewParticipate in continuing education and job training programsSome travel may be required.Performs other duties or special projects as assigned. Maintains regular and reliable attendance.

Qualifications Eligible for state licensure as LATBOC certification - preferred, minimum 5 years.American Heart Association BLS/CPR required and offered complimentary by BSW Rehab.Licensed Athletic Trainer State of Texas (required)At least 3 years experience in public safety, military, high level athletics, or industrial setting required Additional DataEqual Opportunity Employer including Disabled/Veterans
