Job Summary
The Athletic Trainer provides comprehensive athletic training services to athletes, including injury prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation. This position works collaboratively with team physicians and coaches to ensure the health and performance of athletes across multiple sports and events. Additionally, the Athletic Trainer engages in community outreach and education to promote Sports Medicine services.
Essential Functions
Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in athletic training or a related field requiredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, and injury prevention strategies.Proficiency in evaluating athletic injuries and developing appropriate treatment and rehabilitation plans.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with athletes, coaches, healthcare professionals, and parents.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make critical decisions under pressure.Skilled in maintaining detailed and accurate medical records.Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices related to athletic training and sports medicine.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Licenses and Certifications
Athletic Training State Licensure in state of employment required orAT - Certified Athletic Trainer in state of employment requiredBCLS - Basic Life Support obtained within 90 days of employment required"This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
