Job Description:

Brown University Athletics and Recreation is seeking candidates for the Athletic Trainer position. Located in Providence, Rhode Island, and a member of the Ivy League, our intercollegiate athletics program consists of 34 varsity teams with approximately 1,000 athletes who participate within the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA-DI).

This 11-month seasonal role will provide medical care and health education to ensure the safety of, reduce the risk of injury to, and guide the rehabilitation of Brown student-athletes under the guidance of the Head Athletic Trainer and/or Associate Head & Assistant Athletic Trainers This role may also provide coverage for camps and clinics as assigned.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree, required; Master’s Degree, preferred.RI Athletic Training License required (to be obtained prior to hire date).NATABOC Certification, required.Maintain NATABOC Certification Continuing Education Units (CEUs) every reporting period, as required.A minimum of one year of relevant athletic training experience required. Appropriate Emergency Cardiac Care certification as required by the BOC.
