Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking an Athletic Trainer to work at DC Everest School.

The Athletic Trainer provides athletic training services to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Evaluates, treats and plans patient care in accordance with Athletic Training standards, taking into account the needs of the patient as it pertains to the age and diagnosis of the patient. Incorporates patient and family education. Provides documentation for all of the above.

HOURS: Full Time or 1.00 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks.  Will require flexibility to cover sporting events. 

Experience/Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training from a school accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE).Post graduate education in an area of specialization, and experience in general practice of athletic training with experience in area of specialization preferred.State of Wisconsin or Michigan Athletic Trainer license (Business Unit Specific)Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hireCurrent AED certification.
