A Brief Overview:
The Athletic Trainer will collaborate with physicians to optimize activity and participation of patients. Athletic training encompasses the prevention, diagnosis and intervention of emergency, acute and chronic medical conditions involving impairment, functional limitations and disabilities. Athletic trainers specialize in preventing, diagnosing, and treating muscle and bone injuries and illnesses.

Bachelors Degree RequiredExperience in sports medicine, athletic training or therapeutic environment preferred.Evidence of leadership, problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, basic computer skills and clinical competence; ability to work evening hours if required.American Red Cross CPR - American Red Cross Current CPR certification Required OrCertified Athletic Trainer (AT) - National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) Athletic Trainer Certification (from the National Athletic Trainer’s Association Board of Certification, Inc.)
