Provides training and treatment to student athletes in assigned academic programs. Monitors student injury and provides consultation to physicians, coaches, parents and students. Trainer is responsible for on-site and immediate actions and decisions regarding injuries, return to play, continued care or urgent care. **Education:** Required: Bachelor Degree or a Bachelor of Science from an accredited Athletic Training program **Experience:** Preferred: Two (2) years experience as an Athletic Trainer **Licenses/Certificates:** Required: Athletic Trainer's license in good standing through the NM State Board of Athletic Training. Required: National Athletic Trainers Certification from the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer.
