Athletic Trainer - FT
Community Health Systems
Provides training and treatment to student athletes in assigned academic programs. Monitors student injury and provides consultation to physicians, coaches, parents and students. Trainer is responsible for on-site and immediate actions and decisions regarding injuries, return to play, continued care or urgent care.
**Education:**
Required: Bachelor Degree or a Bachelor of Science from an accredited Athletic Training program
**Experience:**
Preferred: Two (2) years experience as an Athletic Trainer
**Licenses/Certificates:**
Required: Athletic Trainer's license in good standing through the NM State Board of Athletic Training.
Required: National Athletic Trainers Certification from the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer.
Required: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) required - Due by close on the last day of the month after one full month of work.
