Responsible for direct patient contact primarily for the evaluation and treatment of medical and musculoskeletal pathology consistent with the scope and practice of athletic training clinical competencies as defined by the BOC and state practice acts. Job settings can include health care clinics, secondary schools, youth sports clubs, collegiate athletics, and/or professional clubs. Qualifications: In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: + 2 Years of athletic training experience . + Must be willing and able to travel and work irregular hours + Must possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse population including but not limited to, athletes, coaches, administrative staff, physicians, volunteers and other medical personnel. + Relevant job setting experience preferred. + CAATE accredited professional Athletic Training program required. + Bachelor's in Athletic traning or related field required. + Athletic Trainer Certified + Athletic Trainer Registration/Licensure to be obtained prior to start of athletic coverage. + BLS + Current driver’s license Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly). This role will cover our Fort Lewis College and Durango High School needs. This role has variable shifts and includes weekend coverage. Our Fort Lewis AT role will travel with the team. The Durango High School role will travel only if they make the playoffs.
