Job Description:

Per Diem Athletic Trainer

The Opportunity
MaineGeneral Sports Medicine seeks a Certified Athletic Trainer to provide per diem coverage at middle and high schools in the Central Maine region. Join our team of 12 Athletic Trainers, collaborating closely with Sports Medicine, Orthopedics, PT/OT, Primary Care, and Pediatrics. You’ll evaluate, treat, prevent, and rehabilitate injuries, offering on-site coverage at practices and events. New graduates are encouraged to apply! The Work

Daily on-site injury evaluations at contracted schoolsMedical coverage for practices and eventsPrepares athletes for competition and determines referral needsCoordinates with healthcare providers, families, and school staffImplements treatment and rehabilitation programsMaintains thorough documentation and develops conditioning plans

You Have

Active Athletic Trainer (AT) certification and Maine State licensureBasic Life Support (BLS) certificationExcellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills
