The Athletic Trainer will provide outreach "Athletic Training Services"* to athletes of a local high school team under the direction of the team physician or by written referral from a physician, and in accordance with state athletic training practice act.
Maintain appropriate general treatment orders to be reviewed annually and approved by the team physician.Provide athletic training services for all home and away athletic contests.Act as liaison between physicians and the technical staff, front office and the players of the professional team.Maintain accurate records of injuries, treatments, and referrals in the injury tracking and referral electronic health record program.Design and implement in-season and off season strength and conditioning programs for professional athletes.Design and implement physical preparation and injury prevention programs for all trainings.Analyze and generate reports on player data via current GPS tracking system.Develop and maintain a budget for the athletic training program.Assist in promotional events for the sports medicine program as neededCover outside events such as academy trainings, tournaments, races, etc. as neededMinimum Education, Training, and Experience Required
Certification to practice athletic training in the state of Kentucky.
