The Account-to-Report Financial Specialist is responsible for providing timely and accurate recording of transaction in the general ledger in compliance with customer requirements as stipulated in the Service Level Agreement (SLA), global accounting policy with limited supervision of the Supervisor/Manager. This includes balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, allocations, intercompany balance confirmation, fixed assets transactional processing, reporting, and conducting month end close procedures.
Tasks
Prepare and post journal entries in general ledgerReconcile balance sheet accounts, provide balance confirmation of intercompany, process fixed asset transactions, and provide various reports and other complex reporting needed by stakeholdersPerform financial statement analysis and prepare needed adjustments to reflect correct financial standing of the companyPerform bank reconciliation, monitors and clears open itemsPerform month-end closing activities and ensures all activities are completed timely and accurately based on global calendar and in accordance with agreed SLAIdentify, rectify, follow up and resolve issues, and document in issue and error logReview and approve Blackline journals in accordance with company policyPerform internal controls review and complete documentation in accordance if iPace requirementsPrepare and submit monthly and quarterly unit consolidation reportsPerform all activities within the agreed and set SLA with customers and global targetsQualifications and Requirements
Graduate of Bachelor's degree preferred in Accounting or FinanceTypically 3-5 years of finance professional experience especially in the field of accounting processesPrevious experience in a General Ledger function is essential.Knowledge in SAP System and experience in Shared Services Center/BPOExperience in process migration, is a plus.Is able to work under time pressureStrong work ethic comprising openness, trust, and integrityEffective communication skills, both written and spoken EnglishCompetencies
