Primary Responsibilities for the Position:
The key responsibilities associated with this role encompass, but are not limited to, the following tasks:
Assist the Controllers organization in the preparation of Local Statutory Financial Statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).Execute month-end closing activities.Provide support during audit processes, including Management Control Assurance and Statutory Audits.Provide leadership in coordinating with various stakeholders and areas of practice to address and resolve issues.Assume a proactive role in comprehending business roadmaps and requirements to ensure appropriate support for business operations.Adhere to key performance indicators related to Accounting-to-Reporting (AtR) processes.Cultivate a strong compliance mindset in the preparation of Month-End Close (MEC) controls.Assist in the identification, definition, and development of strategies aimed at continuous improvement within the role.Collaborate in the implementation of new or modified processes and engage in continuous improvement initiatives (project management and implementation projects).Act as a liaison for the deployment of information technologies and the introduction of new policies in local markets.Manage and update control documentation.Support the delivery of process training and contribute to content development.Develop a comprehensive understanding of the overall Finance organization and the broader business framework, foster networks and partnerships with key Finance and business leaders across the organization.Position Qualifications:
Minimum Educational Requirement:
Bachelor’s Degree or ongoing studies in Accounting and Business Administration.Required Experience and Skills:
Minimum of three years of experience in accounting or auditing within multinational companies, with familiarity in IFRS or US GAAP. An auditing background and experience with IFRS/GAAP external reporting will be considered a significant advantage.Proficient in written and spoken English at an intermediate level.Excellent communication skills.Capacity to foster collaboration between business and technical teams.Flexibility and resilience, with an ability to adapt to changing environments.A team-oriented mindset.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, combined with a proactive approach to new processes.Technical Skill Requirements:
Proficiency in PC applications, including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI, is required.Experience and competency with ERP systems (i.e SAP, JD Edwards, ) are essential.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure.Knowledge with Blackline is desirable.A strong customer service orientation.Current Employees apply HERE
