A.T. Still University (ATSU) is seeking a non-exempt, full-time Service Worker in its Environmental Services Department on the Kirksville, Missouri, campus. The position reports to the Environmental Services Supervisor. The service worker will perform diversified cleaning duties throughout campus. They will generally work alone, but may at times work as part of a team while completing projects. Must have a desire and ability to detail cleaning. May be assigned other tasks on an occasional basis. The hours for this position are 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Monday-Friday. Must be able to work limited overtime as needed for special events and snow removal in the winter which may include some weekend hours.

Major Job Duties

Must be able to clean designated interior of building areas including but not limited to dusting/wiping down surfaces, sinks, counter tops, desks, chairs, windows, fixtures and ledges. Clean hard surface and carpet covered floors. Detail clean restrooms. Empty trash and recycling receptacles. Re-stock supply carts, closets, and designated areas. High-dusting, edge work around cove base on carpeted and hard surface flooring, window ledges, etc. Respond to requests for immediate cleaning needs including but not limited to spills and trash removal. Provide cleaning services to remove excess trash and food after events and meetings. Furniture moving, wall washing. Special event set-ups. Snow removal. Delivering packages from mailroom to specified locations. Other duties as assigned.
