POSITION SUMMARY:
The Assistant, Gift shop will be responsible for the overall operation of the Gift Shop, ordering stock from the suppliers, introducing invoices in the Software system, labelling and pricing the items, doing promotions, managing the warehouse and the overall customer service and management needed to provide a high standard and quality service.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensures high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
Taking full responsibility of the cash box and its balancing at the end of the Day, being able to provide accurate reports and invoicing all the customers of the day
Price & label all merchandise
Maintains a fully stocked store
Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
Recommends and display items that match customer needs
Welcome and greets customers
Manages point-of-sale processes
Actively involves in the receiving of new shipments
Keeps up to date with product information
Accurately describe product features and benefits
Follow all companies’ policies and procedures

Experience
