POSITION SUMMARY:
The Attendant, Linen Room is responsible for delivering a quality customer service through proper, fast delivery of guest request such as linen and other guest items.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Delivers guest request item/s in a timely manner. Guest request item/s must be delivered a minimum of 10 minutesRemains familiar with all linen/terry and all guest request itemsPerforms prior delivery of items such as iron, electric fan or any item that requires electrical or mechanical operation must be in good condition. Check if in good working order before delivery to guestPerforms all requested item and present them on a tray and handed over to the questVerifies the room number and the guest’s name when a guest request for an item, the Runner if possible, the Guest must be greeted by his/her nameRemains knowledgeable of the proper dialogue when delivering guest request itemKnows the proper procedure when the room sign is on DNDEnsures that guest complaints are handled politely, timely and efficientlyFollows up or guest/s to check on the status of the request/s and to check for satisfaction or any other feedbackOperates all equipment in accordance with standard operational procedures to ensure maximum safety including the reporting of any maintenance or hazardous issuesMaintains adequate stock levels of all supplies by weekly stocktaking and reporting to SupervisorCompletes and submits Production Control sheets in a timely and accurate mannerMaintains a clean, safe and clutter free work area to ensure maximum safety and productivityCleans and maintains all delivery equipment regularlyInspects guest: items for damage, lost property, reporting to guests and superior anything identifiedCollects, sorts marks, packs and returns items in appropriate packaging in a timely and courteous manner when requiredMaintains good grooming and proper conduct at all times specially in guest areasRemains knowledgeable of all emergency policies and procedures and be able to respond accordinglyAdheres to all Company policies and proceduresReports accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to supervisorsPerforms any other duties as may be assigned by supervisorsQUALIFICATIONS:
Experience
At least 1 year working experience of similar position

Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pulls and place object weighing less than or equal to 25kg on frequent basis without assistanceSelf-motivated and responsibleAbility to work on flexible shift including overnight weekends and holiday on rotation basisAbility to extend duty hours when neededMulti- tasksPERSONAL COMPETENCIES:
