Attendant - Laundry
DescriptionEssential Duties And Responsibilities Performs general duties required in the preparation for the finishing process of laundering linens for the hotel. Feed or catches all types of linen at the ironer in the prescribed methods and speeds. Sorts, folds, and counts all types of linen. Operates towel folding machine. Sorts soiled linen from linen chute according to classification. Keeps laundry area clean at all times. Refills chemical containers, wearing proper safety equipment and follows all safety rules at all times. Operates all phases of washers, dryers and chemical systems. Follows Thoughtful Service model at all times. Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities

All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations. Regular attendance required.

Education

High School graduate or equivalent.

Language Skills

Must be able to effectively communicate in English.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Computer Skills

Basic computer knowledge preferred.
