Job Overview
Collaboration with internal business teams to evaluate operational needs in light of contract requisites. Review, edit and provide comment to master level and project level customer contracts against template guidance, primarily involving early- to late-phase human clinical trials for new medications and medical devices and in the vendor contracting space, for supply of clinical study services and support.
Essential Functions
Review, draft and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts. Ensure that contracts are in compliance with legal, regulatory and organization policies. Monitor the contract process to assure compliance with the organization's contractual guidelines, satisfaction of customers/vendors, including participation in pre-contract discussions, contract negotiations and contract changesAdvise the organization on legal issues concerning intellectual property, indemnification, confidentiality, data privacy, and other substantive legal matters as impacting contract negotiationsCollaborate with project team leads regarding contract-specific detail and escalate for approvals of contract terms to subject matter experts within the organizationEvaluate needed contracting from a legal perspective to ensure protections of company liabilities while supporting the project teams’ management of customer and vendor relationshipsManage document control to company standardsContribute to team-level operations through virtual engagement toward continuous improvement initiatives and process supportWork in conjunction with direct line and senior management to ensure areas of responsibility are well servicedQualifications
JD3-8 years of relevant experienceSkills

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $92,300.00 - $153,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
