The role
Join our Global Compliance and Ethics team at Dun & Bradstreet, a leading global data company. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of compliance and ethics in data sourcing and processing. As an Attorney, International Data & Analytics Compliance, you will:· Advise International Business on legal and regulatory requirements, including privacy and data protection, artificial intelligence, credit reporting, and data transfer· Conduct risk analysis and compliance assessments for data analytics. · Document internal processes and review data flows and sourcing agreementsResponsibilitiesProvide legal, compliance, and ethics expertise on privacy and data protection, AI, credit reporting, data transfer and localization, data retention, acceptable use, and review of models, algorithms, scores, and ratings for International Data & Analytics programs.Serve as the primary legal reviewer for International Data & Analytics projects.Conduct risk analysis and compliance assessment for the area of data analytics.Document internal processes and reviews of data flows and sourcing agreements.Collaborate with Global Compliance and Ethics and International Data & Analytics teams to offer regulatory and compliance guidance on data sourcing, acceptable use, and review of models, algorithms, scores, and ratings.Ensure effective coordination and strategic alignment with partners in Data & Analytics, International Data Operations, and Technology.SkillsMasters of Law with around 3-4 years of legal experience, preferably some in-house with Global or International Company, with at least 2 years of experience in one or more regulatory disciplines such as privacy, data protection, or data and product compliance. Additional relevant compliance qualifications and certifications, such as CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, AIGP, preferred but not required.Customer-focused, commercial-oriented, and innovation mindset. Comfortable translating complex legal requirements into operational controls for business and technology teams. Excellent judgement and decision-making skills. Takes ownership of tasks, seeking guidance and input from others as appropriate. Keeps colleagues informed and manages expectations.Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Persuasive, influential negotiator. Prior experience with regulatory outreach and advocacy and participation in industry and trade groups a plus. Comfortable with change and ambiguity. Open-minded and preferably a change agent. Demonstrated ability to regularly adjust and re-prioritize to meet multiple stakeholder and organizational needs as well as an ever-evolving regulatory landscape. Responds positively to change and new challenges and can be flexible when required.Passionate about data and data-driven.
