Job Description

Provide legal advice and services to support the organization’s business in assigned region, in one or more of the following areas: contract law, software licensing, technology, regulatory or compliance. May also coordinate legal matters handled by outside counsel.

Essential Functions
• Review, draft and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts. Ensure that contracts are following legal, regulatory and organization policies.

• Monitor the contract process to assure compliance with the organization's contractual guidelines, satisfaction of customers/third parties, including participation in internal and external pre-contract discussions, contract negotiations and contract changes.
• Advise the organization on legal issues concerning clinical research customer contracts, technology and software licensing, intellectual property, real estate, and privacy matters.
• Manage legal contracts in assigned regions.
• Supports the legal team on mergers and/or acquisitions.

Qualifications
• Academic background with a law degree from an accredited university.

• Ability to negotiate, read and draft in English, as well as fluent in spoken English.
• Strong organizational, planning, project management, communication, presentation, and influence skills.
• Ability to work creatively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent skills using MS Office Suite: MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work simultaneously on multiple priorities
• Ability to work independently and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients
• Influence skills with collaborative, open, direct communication style, and willingness to engage in constructive debate
• Team player with ability to plan, organize and deliver results and handle confidential information.
