Description We're currently seeking a highly skilled Transactional Attorney for our Financial Services team. The ideal candidate will handle various transactional matters, regularly liaising between our firm and our clients or third parties. A strong background in financial services with the capability to draft, review, negotiate, and finalize complex financial transactions is required. Responsibilities: + Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize a variety of financial agreements and contracts, and handle other transactional matters. + Provide internal legal advice to our team and executives regarding transactional risks and law regulations. + Conduct thorough legal research to inform decision-making. + Navigate complex regulatory landscapes relating to financial services transactions. + Provide training to company personnel on legal issues involved in business transactions. + Collaborate cross-functionally to provide proactive and timely legal services. + Draft legal reports and other documentation as requested. Requirements + Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. + License to practice law in any state, but North Carolina preferred. + Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Transactional Attorney, preferably within the financial services sector, or in-house environment. + Proficient understanding of federal and state laws related to financial transactions + Exceptional negotiation and communication skills. + Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail. + Ability to perform under pressure and meet strict deadlines. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
