Description A growing boutique plaintiff law firm is seeking an associate attorney to join their team. In this role, you will be tasked with handling a variety of responsibilities related to civil litigation. Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive legal research to support cases. • Handle the drafting of briefs, motions, and pleadings that are comprehensive and persuasive. • Develop effective case strategies based on the facts and applicable law. • Prepare clients and witnesses for depositions and hearings, ensuring they are well-informed and comfortable. • Manage multiple cases simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively to ensure all cases are handled in a timely manner. • Represent clients in court during trials, providing strong representation to achieve favorable outcomes. • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients, working to achieve the best possible outcome. • Utilize legal software and technology tools to manage caseload effectively and efficiently. • Handle complaint resolutions, demonstrating a strong commitment to client satisfaction.
