Description We are in search of a diligent Attorney/Lawyer part time, 20 hours a week, to be a part of our legal team. As an Attorney/Lawyer, you will be accountable for conducting business-related research, managing M& A operations, overseeing contract development and vendor agreements, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This role is remote for a Miami office, Florida, and offers a contract employment opportunity. Some litigation experience is a plus. Responsibilities: • Conduct thorough research on various business matters • Oversee and manage light Mergers and Acquisitions (M& A) operations • Develop and review legal contracts and vendor agreements • Draft and revise legal documents as per the needs of the business • Ensure all business transactions, including asset purchases, comply with relevant laws and regulations • Address employment-related legal matters • Provide legal advice on a range of issues concerning the business • Assist with legal aspects of business transactions and agreements. Requirements • Must have a detail-oriented qualification as an Attorney/Lawyer. • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. • Proficient in drafting and reviewing legal agreements. • Demonstrated experience in vendor agreement negotiations. • Solid understanding and experience in Mergers & Acquisitions (M& A). • Expertise in contract law and experience with drafting contracts. • Must be knowledgeable in legal compliance requirements. • Strong skills in drafting legal documents. Must be a licensed attorney in good standing, Florida licensed preferred.
