Attraction Ambassador- Eiffel Tower - Part Time (Paris LV)

JOB SUMMARY: 

The Ambassador – Eiffel Tower is responsible greeting customers and sharing the history of the Las Vegas Eiffel Tower in relation to the original in Paris, France. The ambassador must be comforted riding in a small elevator for an extended length of time, escorting valued guests to and from the Viewing Deck. Must possess clear communication skills to direct guests clearly and professionally. Ambassadors will provide the Best-In-Class customer service to ensure the guest experience is flawless from start to finish.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS: 

Follow the basic principles of Safety, Courtesy, Show, and Capacity as they relate to the Eiffel Tower. 

Inform lead/supervisor of any guest or system related problems during their shift. 

Assist in interactions with VIP or Group guests. 

Works in collaboration with other employees to create a safe, exciting experience for the Eiffel Tower guests. 

Complies with and upholds company expectations including Code of Commitment, policies, procedures, industry regulations, and gaming regulations. 

Actively involved in Total Service initiatives. 

Must be able to work various shifts and hours to include holidays and weekends. 

Stays informed of property promotions, programs, and amenities. 

  

Elevator operator-on the ascent the operator must be able to speak clearly to the passengers and give them pertinent information about our Eiffel Tower and how it compares to the original Tower. This speech must be memorized. The Ambassadors must also be able to answer guests’ questions about the Tower and surroundings. The ambassador must also have knowledge of how to handle bio spills as some guests do get ill on the elevator. On the descent, the ambassador must be able to chat with guests and suggest other outlets such as the different shows, restaurants, and attractions on all Caesars properties. 

Tower-Must maintain a constant guest count of how many are on the viewing deck at any one time (cannot exceed 96). Manages queue line to prepare quests for the descend (no more than 10 at a time per elevator). Must be able to read the anemometer and understand high wind limitations to prepare tower shutdown for guest comfort and safety. If wind speeds exceed 39 mph, then the Ambassador must prepare guests to exit the viewing deck. 

VIP level-This entrance is on the casino level and is for VIP casino guests and guests requiring assistance -such as ADA guests. The ambassador is responsible for contacting the elevator operator and letting him/her know that they have a VIP or an "Assist" waiting to go to the top. 

Ticket Validator: - Knowledge of ticket offerings and ability to understand minimal level of technical ability in operating ticket scan device. This position also acts as an ambassador not only to the attraction, but for the casino in assisting and directing guests, accordingly. 

Must have excellent communicative skills, outgoing personality and anticipate special needs. 

  

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 

Minimum three years’ experience in a customer facing position 

 High School Diploma preferred 

  

QUALIFICATIONS: 

 Must be at least 21 years of age. 

 Possess inherent customer service skills, a passion for customer care, and a commitment to proactive service and recovery, as necessary. 

Ability to think independently in making decisions to maximize customer service experience. 

Ability to effectively manage time and perform multiple tasks simultaneously. 

Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem solving, and analytical skills required. 

Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy. 

 Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues. 

 Mobility skills to move quickly and easily around noisy high-volume establishments. 

Must be able to lift 35 lbs. 

Must complete weekly walkdown, consisting of over 40 flights of stairs from tower platform to casino level. This is required for all supervisors, leads and ambassadors as outlined in county guidelines. 

Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business. 

Due to safety requirements, this position must show literacy and fluency in English. 

  

WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

May be exposed to hot/cold/windy conditions. 

May be required to stand for extended periods of time. 

Must wear designated uniform as described in Eiffel Tower procedures.
