Job Title: Auction Pickup Coordinator ($17/HR)
Location: Aiken, North Augusta, Augusta, Martinez, Evans, Grovetown Areas
Expected Hours: 30-40 per week

Position Overview: The Auction Pickup Coordinator is responsible for managing the auction pickup day to ensure a smooth and efficient process for all winning bidders. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead a team while maintaining high standards for both service and property care.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordination & Logistics:
Oversee and manage the auction pickup day, ensuring all winning bidders receive the correct items in a timely manner.Develop and implement logistical plans to handle item pickup efficiently, including scheduling, space management, and staff assignments.Customer Management:
Communicate with winning bidders to confirm pickup times and provide necessary instructions to ensure they arrive on time.Address any issues or questions from bidders regarding the pickup process.Property Protection:
Supervise the pickup process to ensure that the property is handled with care, preventing any damage to the home or items.Train and guide the pickup team on best practices for handling and transporting items to avoid damage.Team Management:
Lead and manage the pickup team, including assigning tasks, providing support, and ensuring effective communication among team members.Conduct briefings before pickup day and debriefings after to address any concerns or improvements.Documentation & Evaluation:
Take detailed notes on the pickup process, documenting any issues or discrepancies.Recap and evaluate each auction pickup day, providing feedback and suggestions for process improvements.Qualifications:
Experience:
Previous experience in logistics, event coordination, or a similar role is preferred.Experience managing a team is a plus.Skills:
Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with bidders and managing team members.Ability to handle and resolve issues quickly and effectively.Attention to detail, especially in regard to item handling and property care.Other Requirements:
Driver's License (Required)Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays or evenings, as needed for auction events.Proficiency in using logistics and scheduling software is advantageous.Schedule:
