What you will do:

 

Produce scripts and record audio descriptions for a variety of clients' television outputsAudio description is a secondary soundtrack describing onscreen action, locations, and characters, interwoven with dialogue, music, and sound effects. Scripts include timings and text, with timings indicating when descriptions are desirable.Write scripts and record descriptionsMeet production targets for scripting and voicingUnderstand and meet client requirements with the AD teamIntroduce and encourage collaboration in audio descriptionContribute to editorial policy and standardsMonitor scripts and recordings for quality and accuracyConduct background research on programsTrain new recruits and develop team skillsContinuously improve voicing and scripting skillsAssist in staff assessmentsFollow Health and Safety guidelinesCollaborate with colleagues for optimal service delivery

Compensation data:


Starting pay for this role is $31,200 with a 5% annual bonus structure.
