The Audio/Visual Technician I ensures the seamless operation of all audio and video systems. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment, and operating it during events ensuring high production value. The AV Tech I assists in designing and configuring audio/visual setups for various venues, maintains an accurate inventory of equipment, and ensures all equipment meets EQC standards. The AV Tech I also handles repairs, performs regular servicing, and provides prompt emergency and on-call support. This role requires a proactive approach and a commitment to delivering exceptional audio/visual experiences and guest service.
Starting wage is $25.07/hr. increasing to $27.46/hr. upon successful completion of 90-day orientation period. This full-time position features excellent employer-paid medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. Associate’s degree in Computer Science or related training in a technology related discipline preferred. At least one year of experience in an MIS environment for a company of comparable size and MIS needs. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot computer software and hardware problems, setup, network, and maintain audio visual systems. Additional education or related experience may substitute for the minimum requirements of the position.
This role is primarily performed indoors across various casino locations and requires tolerance for a smoke-filled environment.
Ability to stand, sit, or squat for extended periods. Normal range of hearing and vision. Concentration under busy conditions, including smoke, video, and loud music environments. Hand and finger dexterity, good eyesight, and the ability to lift equipment or components weighing up to 50 pounds or more. Comfort with enclosed or high spaces, such as closets, ladders, or man lifts. Availability for on-call duties, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.Must be able to pass a pre-employment illegal drug screen and obtain a Class IIIA license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission.
