Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as an Audio-Visual Production Specialist Level II. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual looking to develop their career in the AV field. As an Audio-Visual Specialist level II, you will assist AV Leads in providing technical support, maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the seamless operation of audiovisual systems. You will be responsible for coordinating virtual and on-site events. You will partner with AV Leads and event organizers in managing large-scale meetings or assisting with the production of Zoom webinars/meetings. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing the overall audio-visual experience for our organization's events, meetings, and presentations. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Interface with event organizers, 3rd party AV Vendors, and project managers, to provide production support for large or small AV Events
Technical Support: Deliver exceptional technical assistance and support to end-users, addressing inquiries and resolving issues pertaining to audiovisual equipment such as projectors, sound systems, microphones, and video conferencing systems.
Equipment Setup: Collaborate with the team to set up and configure audiovisual equipment for various events and presentations, ensuring optimal functionality, connectivity, and adherence to quality standards.
Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and rectify technical glitches and malfunctions related to audiovisual equipment, employing analytical thinking, and troubleshooting skills to ensure swift resolution and minimal disruption.
Maintenance and Upgrades: Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, testing, and firmware/software updates, to ensure the proper functioning and longevity of audiovisual systems. Proactively recommend equipment upgrades or replacements as necessary.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of equipment inventory, service requests, and repairs. Create user-friendly guides and troubleshooting procedures to facilitate efficient operation and support for audiovisual systems.
Event Support: Provide on-site assistance during events, ensuring seamless operation of audiovisual equipment, promptly addressing any issues that arise, and assisting presenters or performers to guarantee a flawless audiovisual experience.
Training: Support the training efforts by assisting in educating staff members on the proper usage and functionality of audiovisual equipment, conducting informative and engaging training sessions as required.
Industry Awareness: Stay abreast of the latest audiovisual technologies, trends, and best practices. Proactively explore opportunities to enhance the organization's audiovisual capabilities, suggesting innovative solutions for improved user experiences.
Any other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
2 – 4 years of AV Production experience, including live event production, video editing, audio mixing, and hardware support.
Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate fundamental knowledge of audiovisual systems and equipment, including projectors, audio mixers, microphones, and video conferencing systems. Proficient in troubleshooting common audiovisual issues.
Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with end-users, comprehend their requirements, and provide clear and concise technical guidance and support.
Problem-Solving: Display strong problem-solving abilities, employing logical thinking and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve audiovisual equipment-related issues efficiently.
Organization and Time Management: Exhibit exceptional organizational skills, capable of prioritizing tasks, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and meeting deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Attention to Detail: Possess a keen eye for detail in equipment setup, cable management, and system configurations to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and aesthetics.
Collaboration: Demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, event organizers, and external vendors to achieve shared objectives.
Flexibility: Display a flexible approach to work, willingly accommodating non-standard hours and occasional weekends to provide support for events or system maintenance.
Education/Certification/License:
Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
AVIXA CTS Certification
Comp TIA A+ Certification
CompTIA N+ Certification
Travel Requirement:
Travel (50%)

The pay range for this position is $24.23 to $34.80, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
