Position Description
Identifies, evaluates and rehabilitates audiological disorders and hearing loss in patients, which may include infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients according to clinical competency. The duties of this position require patient and family education and the exercise of courtesy and patience in speaking with and assisting patients, families, medical personnel and others in order to provide quality customer service.
Position Requirements
REQUIRED:
1. Masters or Doctorate degree in Audiology.
2. Must be certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for all age groups.
3. Internal candidate must attain 3.25 PE (prior year), no disciplinary action on file, and no red rule violation.
PREFERRED:
1. Doctorate in Audiology.
2. One (1) year experience in auditory brainstem response testing.
