**The Opportunity**
Our **West Geography Acoustics, Audiovisual, Theatre, and Experience Design team (AAVTX)** is growing, and we are seeking experienced Audiovisual Design Consultants.

As a **Senior Audiovisual Design Consultant** , you'll be at the forefront of shaping a better world, contributing to the design of exceptional spaces for clients ranging from renowned concert halls and recording studios to innovative corporate offices, and cutting-edge educational institutions.

+ You have experience with delivering allmultiple aspectsof a project –technical, client care, financial, and team leadership
+ You thoroughly explore rigorous technical backgrounds, and alsotake time to ensure the technical analysis are aligned project needs
+ You have an eye for detail in all written, visual, and verbal communication
+ You have a track recordof delivering innovative acoustic solutions
+ Work in conjunction with the Project Director to ensure commercial success across projects
+ Prepare and present technical documentation and project progress reports to clients.

**Is the role right for you:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in acoustics or architectural engineering OR a related degree in music, architecture, physics, engineering, computer science, sound reproduction, sound recording, with strong demonstrated experience in acoustics
+ 5 + years of relevant experience in acoustic design
+ Strong fundamentals in acoustics, fundamentals of vibration, engineering acoustics, noise control, digital signal processing, electroacoustics, human responses to acoustics and vibration
+ Proficiency with specialist technical equipment and software such as B&K, CATT, EASE, Odeon, Max/MSP, AutoCad, Revit, Rhino, Sketchup
+ Candidates with additional experience in music, composition, electronic music, recording, 3D sound, live sound, production are particularly encouraged to apply

**Hiring Range** - The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in Los Angeles is $100,000 is $140,000 per year. This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Please note hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of Los Angeles will differ.
