Job Overview

The Revenue Audit Clerk II performs all gaming and nongaming related audits as needed. The Revenue Audit Clerk II also performs financial reporting functions, including preparation of journal entries, verification of system reporting functions, and recording financial information by entering data into the computer, calculating and summarizing numbers, and drafting and reviewing financial documents for proper completion. Observes and checks inventory counts of controlled forms, gift cards and other items as required and directed, maintains compliance with gaming regulations and completes other tasks as assigned by Revenue Audit Supervisor or above.

Duties And Responsibilities

Ensures compliance with existing internal and external income control policies and procedures Performs daily audits of all gaming and nongaming related areas with limited supervision Reports income control violations to the appropriate department and recommends corrective action to mitigate further violations Investigates, researches, documents and solves variances including reconciliation of gaming revenues against gaming system while making corrections as necessary Assists with Toke and Tip verification Creates, organizes and disseminates data to authorized entities in the format including preparation of daily operating report required Assists in training Team Members when necessary Anticipates ongoing changes, problems, and opportunities to maintain effective systems and procedures Establishes and maintains files and records including preparation for long-term storage and document destruction Communicates effectively both orally and in writing Maintains a consistent, regular attendance record Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements (Please Ensure You Meet The Listed Requirements Prior To Applying)

High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within 6 months from start date as a condition of continued employment Two (2) years’ experience in revenue audit including knowledge and successful execution of all gaming and non-gaming audits- required; Accounting experience- preferred General knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Experience with Casino Systems, SDS, CMP, Opera- preferred Knowledge and understanding of gaming revenue calculation, comparison of theoretical hold with actual hold, comparison of progressive meter to actual vendor reports required Reconciliation experience required with the ability to reconcile across multiple reports and source documents Possess organizational and planning skills Willing to work odd and irregular hours including holidays and weekends Must be able to sit for long periods of time and view information displayed on a computer screen Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned desk area Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Must have an Occupational License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) pursuant to the Illinois Gaming Act and remain in good standing with the Illinois Gaming Board as a requirement for this position
