Job Description:

The Audit Director, Financial Crimes, Remediation and Program Management is responsible for the program management of financial crimes and audit remediation efforts in Canada, Europe and Asia, working closely with our various Audit teams covering various aspects of the financial crimes program in the US. The role requires extensive experience on investigative and compliance skills as well as audit background to allow for assessment of outcomes and risks beyond the testing of controls.

Depth & Scope:

Provides people management leadership by hiring the best talent, setting goals, developing staff, managing employee performance and compensation decisions, promoting teamwork and handling any/all disciplinary actions, as requiredDesigns, plans, & executes the Audit Plan for TDBG Financial Crimes areasResponsible for the broader Division mandate to contribute to a strong control culture Develops a team focused on US-wide compliance, not just local needs and strong collaboration with the Audit Financial Crime teams covering Canada and EAPDevelops & maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Audit teams covering firs line, technology, model risk, etc. that impact the TDBG financial crimes programsStaffs the function with appropriately skilled individuals and augment with SMEs where necessaryAttracts, develops and retains key talent, making audit a great place to workDevelops a risk-based Audit Plan & deliver the plan evenly over the course of the yearEnsures quality of work meets division standardsIdentifies all significant control gaps in areas we auditProvides clear, comprehensive and timely reporting on significant control mattersManages financial budget within plan and riskThis role is responsible for leading and overseeing a dedicated Audit Financial Crimes team that is responsible for:

Remediation OfficePrepare bi-weekly status reports​​​Track and maintain status details for each deliverable Coordinate with Project Management office on all central MRA program requirements such as plan documentation and PMO related artifactsMemorialize work performed and assembly and retention of supporting artifacts and approvalsPerform remediation of all MRA and PTS/RTS deliverables.Provide input and provide solutions to all PTS/RTS concern deliverablesProvide input and provide solutions to all MRA concern deliverables Program Management OfficeOversee and coordinate ongoing capacity and demand analysis for the FC Audit team for all activities, including team schedule, audits, findings validations, remediation, and other audit activitiesEvaluate team resource needs for both FTE and contingent supportWork with HR partners to coordinate recruitment efforts for the teamAssist with onboarding of new hiresOversee financials for FC Audit team, monitor cost spend, financial forecast analysisAssist with Vendor management activities:Oversee execution of Statements of Work and delivery of the work associated with each SOWOnboard and manage all contingent workers associated with SOWs (allocations, training, time reporting, access control, feedback, and escalations)Invoice / financials managementSupport change management activities, including training and communications in alignment with business strategyAssist with preparation of updates for the board Facilitate team activities, including Monthly All Hands callsOther ad hoc requests as needed

Education & Experience:

Degree required.10+ years progressively responsible experience in public accounting and/or internal auditing management experience is requiredExpert knowledge of auditing principles and practices as well as applicable legal and regulatory statutesStrong ability to delegate authority and establish policies that ensure oversight of delegated authorityAbility to analyze business situations and effectively collaborates on overall corporate directionStrategic planning and process management experienceSenior management and leadership experience, with financial management backgroundExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking ability and positive public presence
