Position Overview: The Audit Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and reporting the results of financial and operational audits. This role will provide leadership and oversight to the audit team and will ensure that audit procedures and best practices are being used. The Audit Manager will also review and analyze financial statements and reports, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop high-level audit strategies and methods while continuously evaluating audit processes and proceduresManage and lead the audit staff to ensure that the audit process is carried out in an efficient and effective mannerDevelop audit plans and strategies to ensure that all risks are evaluatedPerform audits of financial and operational activities to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulationsAnalyze financial statements and reports to identify areas of risk or improvementPrepare audit reports and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholdersConduct follow-up activities to ensure corrective action plans are in place and are effective

Qualifications:

CPA certification or equivalent5+ years of experience in audit, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial roleExperience with Employee Benefit/401k plans are a huge plus!
