Candidate must have thorough knowledge of and adhere to the Institute of Internal Audit’s Global Internal Audit Standards. Candidate must possess proficient knowledge of accounting and auditing principles and techniques. Prior experience in conducting financial, compliance, operational, internal control, and information technology audits is required. Successful candidate must demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, effective critical-thinking skills, the ability to collaborate and build relationships with others and exercise good judgement. Prior experience with TeamMate audit software is a plus. Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree with a major in Accounting, Finance or related business degree and have a minimum of five years of auditing experience. Candidate must possess a professional designation, such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).

Position will be responsible for overseeing and supervising 7-10 staff in the planning and execution of approximately 60 audits per year. Individual will be responsible for developing the audit approach, scheduling resources, and monitoring the progress of audits. Position will serve as the front-line supervisor on assignments, providing general direction on audit scope and procedures, resolution of issues, reviewing workpapers, and editing reports. Individual will also assist in the development of the annual audit plan, determine staff training needs, and conduct sensitive audit projects and investigations as needed.
