Job Description & Summary

At PwC, our people in audit and assurance focus on providing independent and objective assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurable information enhancing the credibility and reliability of this information with a variety of stakeholders. They evaluate compliance with regulations including assessing governance and risk management processes and related controls.

In financial statement audit at PwC, you will focus on obtaining reasonable assurance about whether the financial statements as a whole are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error, and to issue an auditor’s report that includes the auditor’s opinion.

You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team member’s unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations. Requirements

Must be a Namibian Citizen;Persons with disabilities and persons from previously disadvantaged designated groups  are strongly encouraged to apply;Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant;3 - 4 years’ experience in an auditing environment;Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;Display sound leadership skills;Analytic and solution driven;Excellent time management skills;Pro - active and committed to delivery;Ability to multitask;High attention to detail;Self - motivated;Must be computer literate, including the use of Pastel and Caseware;Strong business and technical understanding of IFRS.

Duties

Managing a diverse client portfolio;Reporting to a partner responsible for the portfolio within the assurance division;Managing of client portfolios with internal and local connections;Compliance with PwC audit methodology;Staff management/coaching;Risk Management;Administration duties related to client portfolios.
