Audit Project Manager- Compliance
**Description** **Location:** On site in Memphis, TN, Miami, FL, or New Orleans, LA **Summary** Primarily responsible for completing audit engagement assignments with minimal supervision. The Audit Project Manager is expected to: + understand and identify the full range of risks related to processes, regulatory compliance, organization, policy, and technology, + evaluate control design adequacy in complex business processes, + perform control testing, and + document work performed in conformance with internal audit methodology. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** + Lead the planning, scoping, execution, and reporting of regulatory compliance audits based on identified risks + Contact with management regarding audit scope, status, and findings + Responsible for meeting time and staffing budgets for assigned audits + Objective opinion on the adequacy and effectiveness of the system of control + Efficiency of performance of the activities being reviewed + Prepare work papers that accurately document work performed and support conclusions + Adhere to Departmental policies and guidelines + Conduct findings follow up validation + Ensure audit issues are well-defined, root causes are identified, and recommendations for improved controls and processes are communicated to management **SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES** None **QUALIFICATIONS** Bachelor’s Degree (4-Year Accredited College) 3 – 7 Years related auditing experience Relevant financial services industry knowledge ( Regulatory Compliance & Operations) Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize assignments, and to meet critical and established deadlines Thorough understanding of Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Standards Certification preferred ( CRCM, CIA, CPA, CAMS, or other relevant professional designations) **COMPUTER AND OFFICE EQUIPMENT SKILLS** Microsoft Office Suite TeamMate + (preferred) **CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS** Certification preferred (CRCM, CIA, CPA, CAMS, or other relevant professional designations) **About Us** First Horizon is a leading regional financial services company, dedicated to helping our clients, communities and associates unlock their full potential with capital and counsel.
