Audit & Risk Mgmt Analyst III

Support SOX BC in annual scoping of controls (e.g. MJE and BS scoping memo)

Assist SOX BC in conducting business process walkthroughs and control owner interviews, and makes determinations/recommendations for the preparation and/or revision of SOX controls documentation

Participate in the annual review and update of control design as well provide input to new or changed control design

Planning of the annual management testing for SOX controls including liaison with Control Owners on timing etc. as well as preparing testing plan for approval by management including SOX Steerco and subsequent communication to EY/IAA

Prepare control testing scripts for review/approval by SOX BC

Execute controls testing according to script/required audit standards

Communication of test results in a timely fashion to control owners and line management 

Recording of testing in the control register (Archer) and preparing summary reporting for management on outcomes

Works with controls owners to agree remediations for any control deficiencies identified, assisting Control Owners to action

Efficiency in gathering information from business process owners for audit PBC requirements

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-4 years work experience in statutory reporting, audit and a degree in accounting
• Excellent Excel skills
• Experience with major enterprise accounting systems such as Oracle, SAP or PeopleSoft
• Experience in medium to large company environment. BPO/Finance Shared Service experience is preferred
•Experience in business control is a plus.
•Experience in external audit is a must
•Good English communication skills required.
