Description We are seeking an Audit Sr. - Public to join clients our team. This role is based in INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana, and involves extensive work in the financial industry. As an Audit Sr. - Public, you will play a crucial role in analyzing financial statements, providing financial management support, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards. You will also be responsible for assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and general ledger accounting activities. Responsibilities: • In-depth analysis of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements • Providing financial management support to clients or internal stakeholders • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business objectives • Assisting in the budgeting and forecasting processes • Conducting general ledger accounting activities, such as journal entries and account reconciliations • Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations • Guiding and mentoring entry level accounting staff • Preparing income tax in support of the Tax Department • Identifying financial trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement • Processing daily reconciliations and maintaining accurate audit schedules. Requirements • Job Title: Audit Sr. - Public • Minimum of 3 years experience in audit or a related field • Proficient in Audit and Financial Audit procedures • Experience in creating and managing Audit Schedules • Familiarity with Financial Statement Audits • Ability to perform Daily and Account Reconciliation tasks • Knowledge in Balance Sheet Reconciliation • Experience in preparing Federal and Income Tax Returns • Proficient in Journal Entry tasks • Experience in preparing Month-end Journal Entries Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
