Description We are in the market for an Auditing Clerk to join our team in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will be vital in ensuring compliance with internal audit initiatives and maintaining high standards of data analysis. This role is a short-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Ensure compliance with internal audit initiatives • Leverage your experience with SOX to maintain accuracy and efficiency • Utilize Alteryx software to facilitate data analysis tasks • Maintain proficiency with Excel for various tasks • Apply your public accounting background to optimize processes • Manage data processing and check processing tasks effectively • Utilize Accounting Software Systems and Adobe Acrobat for various auditing tasks • Handle Accounting Functions and Accounts Payable (AP) efficiently • Monitor and manage cash activity • Use Concur and other computer programs to ensure efficient workflow. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required for maintaining and managing financial records. • Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat to ensure easy access, sharing, and storage of documents. • Strong competence in various Computer Programs to facilitate efficient work processes. • Knowledge of Concur for managing expenses and invoices is essential. • Capable of efficient Data Processing to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information. • Ability to handle various Accounting Functions, including ledger updates and financial reporting. • Expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP) to ensure timely and accurate payments. • Prior experience in Auditing to guarantee compliance with financial regulations and standards. • Proficiency in managing Cash Activity, including transactions, deposits, and record keeping. • Experience in Check Processing to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices. • Familiarity with Alteryx for data blending and advanced data analytics. • Knowledge of SOX - Sarbanes-Oxley for ensuring corporate accounting transparency and preventing fraud.
