This is a hybrid position, will be required onsite. **What You Can Expect:** Under limited supervision, the Senior Auditor is responsible for performing audit and consulting procedures in accordance with the annual audit plans. + Plans and executes assessments and audits of services and/or programs to determine the effectiveness of risk management practices and/or internal controls. + Recommends new or modified procedures that improve the effectiveness and/or efficiency of the organization's internal controls, including corrective action plans for key stakeholders. + Handles complex issues and problems, and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter. + Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to staff; with appropriate authorization, may act as lead. Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements of new and existing legislation. + Evaluates the adequacy and timeliness of management's response and the corrective actions taken on significant audit recommendations. + Assists in the development of education and training to be used in orienting and educating the organization on regulatory requirements. Assists in developing policies and procedures for the organization. + Cooperates with independent auditors and provides data in support of external audits as needed. Interacts with organizational personnel in a professional, positive, and constructive manner to facilitate good working relationships. + Maintains current knowledge of applicable federal and state laws to ensure ongoing compliance by the organization. + Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. **Qualifications:** + Education: Bachelors degree or experience in lieu of a degree + Experience: 5 years relevant experience + Licenses/Certifications: Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or similar certification. **What’s in it for you** At St. Luke’s, caring for people in the communities we serve is our mission – and this includes our own SLHS team.
