As an Auslan Interpreter you will:

Deliver exceptional customer service to the Deaf, speech communication difficulty and hard of hearing communityProvide an efficient response to customer requestsMaintain strict confidentiality while dealing with personal and sensitive information in an accurate and careful manner

What we are looking for:

Wired NBN Internet Connection - minimum download 10mbs+, minimum upload 10mbs+Role 1 - Ideally be available at least 2 days per week, one of these days being Friday -we will accept 1 dayRole 2 - Ideally be available Monday through Thursday or at least 2 of these days per weekSaturday shift available 8am to 12noon - 25% penalty rate applies  NAATI accredited Provisional Interpreters and Certified Interpreters5+ years proven experience interpreting in a range of contexts within the Deaf communityUnderstand and follow the Interpreter Code of EthicsCurrent ASLIA membership is preferableBe available to undertake 3 days of online training
