Associate – Business Litigation

Our client, a top national law firm, is seeking a highly-qualified and motivated Associate to join their Business Litigation practice group in Austin.

Candidate Profile:

JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record. Bar Admission in Texas. 4-6 years of substantive experience in complex business litigation, including real estate, trademarks and copyrights, securities, insurance, franchisor/franchisee disputes, and corporate and partnership issues. Strong trial skills, including experience with hearings, depositions, and a comfort level with trial settings under reasonable oversight. Proven law firm experience, with excellent writing and communication skills. Familiarity with the Texas courts and rules is an essential skill for this role, and out-of-state candidates will not be considered at this time.

Key Responsibilities:

Represent clients in complex business litigation cases, covering a wide range of substantive areas such as partnership and shareholder disputes, misappropriation of trade secrets, trademark infringement, breach of non-competition and non-solicitation agreements, and commercial contracts. Handle real estate litigation, including developer disputes, broker defense, lender litigation, and partnership disputes. Collaborate with a team of seasoned attorneys in a dynamic and challenging legal environment.
