What You'll Do
This 1.0 FTE Specialty Pharmacy Liaison will collaborate with clinic staff and Michigan Medicine Specialty Pharmacy to identify patients who are eligible to enroll in MM Specialty Pharmacy services, inform patients of their pharmacy choice options, and coordinate specialty pharmacy care based on their wishes.

Excellent medical, dental and vision coverage effective on your very first day 2:1 Match on retirement savingsResponsibilities*The Liaison will work to identify patients proactively and close to real-time to identify pharmacy of choice and educate patients. The liaison will be expected to work onsite within the assigned clinic area(s) a minimum of 2 days per week.
Core functions:
Perform pharmacy insurance benefits investigation work to identify pharmacy network restriction(s).Utilize reports for prescriptions filled at outside pharmacies to identify patients with pharmacy choice.Collaborate with clinic staff to connect patients to their pharmacy of choice. This naturally occurs at time of prescription renewal, prior authorization renewal, insurance change or clinic visit.Communicate with patients, clinic staff, and specialty pharmacy staff to ensure smooth transition to patient's selected pharmacy.Serve as resource for all specialty pharmacy-related inquiries from patients and clinic staff, assisting in coordination and connection to subject matter experts when needs arise.Required Qualifications*Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a pharmacy or medical office setting with background in insurance benefits and knowledge of specialty pharmacy medications.Excellent interpersonal skills; specifically written and verbal communication skills as well as demonstrated ability to build rapport with colleagues.Competency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPointProven ability to effectively work with multiple stakeholders in a high-paced, dynamic environment.
