Join a family environment with huge growth potential! **Required Qualifications of the Authorization Specialist** - 2+ years of recent prior authorizations experience required - Insurance verification and benefits experience required - High school diploma or GED required - Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen **Responsibilities of the Authorization Specialist** - Follow up on pending authorizations - Contact insurance companies via phone and insurance portals - Communicate with patients regarding COBs - Assist patients in completing COBs with patients’ insurance company - Submit authorizations and check pending authorizations - Utilize third party EMR and Athena **About the Company** This well-known and successful healthcare system has remained a symbol of quality in Arizona for the past decade.
