Location: High Focus Centers in Radnor, PA
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Details

Schedule: 230pm-730pm Salary Range: $20-22 per hour

Key Responsibilities

Effective Communication: Communicate clearly and concisely, avoiding jargon. Use visual aids like pictures or communication boards to enhance understanding. Actively listen, respond to nonverbal cues, and adapt communication to meet client preferences. Empathy & Patience: Approach every interaction with deep empathy and sensitivity, particularly during challenging moments. Recognize and address signs of stress or anxiety with a calm, patient demeanor. Behavioral Observation & Data Collection: Monitor behaviors to identify patterns and client needs. Collect and analyze data on progress to inform individualized interventions. Structured Environment & Routine: Create and maintain clear, predictable routines with visual schedules. Modify sensory stimuli to promote a comfortable, overstimulation-free environment. Individualized Approach: Customize interventions based on each client’s unique needs. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and professionals to create comprehensive support plans. Additional Key Skills: Apply positive reinforcement techniques to encourage desired behaviors. Stay flexible, adjusting to changing client needs. Work as part of a collaborative team to provide integrated care. Demonstrate self-awareness and a commitment to ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

Background in psychology, social work, behavioral health, or ABA. Valid Drivers License and ability to transport clients.  HS Diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred.  1-2 years of experience with ASD in educational, mental health, or social skills environments. Experience working with both groups and individuals. Strong interpersonal, communication, observational, and analytical skills. Commitment to mental health and experience with behavioral interventions in group and individualized settings.
