Preferred - New York State Heavy Vehicle Inspection License MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must be a least twenty-one (21) years of age. + Graduation from high school or vocational school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and three (3) years of experience as a journey man automotive mechanic; or + Seven (7) years of experience as a journeyman automotive mechanic; or + An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (a) and (b). GENERAL DUTIES: Vehicle Maintenance and repairs for District Vehicles and Equipment.
