Actalent is currently seeking a skilled AutoCAD Drafter and Designer to join our team at our North Phoenix, Arizona office. The position provides growth opportunities into electrical designing and engineering, encompassing a variety of projects such as potable and non-potable water facilities, wastewater treatment facilities, street and sports lighting, solar/PV systems, and commercial or industrial buildings.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain architectural, mechanical, civil, and electrical plan layouts using AutoCAD.Ensure quality control through backchecking and implementing CAD etiquette, such as centering text and creating aesthetically pleasing layouts.Manage symbols/blocks, and title blocks, and perform text masking for optimal drawing presentation.Insert and link Excel spreadsheets into CAD drawings and create PDFs.Rotate base files within viewports and manage layer settings effectively.Essential SkillsMinimum of 2 years of experience in CAD drafting at an engineering consulting firm.Proficiency in AutoCAD, including base file rotation and Excel integration.Competence in reading and interpreting electrical plan layouts.Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to work efficiently with a team and manage time effectively.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Resourceful and driven with a strong work ethic and passion for learning.Capability to read and interpret architectural, mechanical, civil, and electrical drawings.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
