This role exists to provide dedicated, distraction-free support for converting various types of drawings into accurate AutoCAD files and maintaining as-built drawings. The assistant will help overcome current challenges related to staffing limitations and inefficiencies by delivering consistent and high-quality work. Hiring for this position allows the client to improve project turnaround, reduce internal training burdens, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
The Impact you’ll makeAutoCAD Drawing Conversion & Updates\nConvert hand drawings, PDFs, photos, and other formats into precise 2D AutoCAD drawings.\nUpdate and maintain as-built floor plans and wiring diagrams as needed.\nEnsure all drawings meet client and industry accuracy standards.\n
Data Analysis & Reporting\nUse Excel to analyze project data, identify patterns, and assist in decision-making processes.\nPrepare reports and summaries based on data analysis to support project deliverables.\n
Project Support & Communication\nCollaborate effectively with the team using communication platforms such as Zoho Cliq, WhatsApp, phone, and email.\nManage project tasks with a high level of focus and reliability, minimizing distractions.\nConduct research and gather required project information proactively.\n
Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseRequired:\nMinimum 2 years of professional experience with AutoCAD, specifically 2D drawing creation and editing.\nStrong skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.\nProven ability to convert hand sketches, PDFs, and images into accurate AutoCAD drawings.\nEffective communication skills and ability to collaborate remotely via multiple platforms.\nDetail-oriented and able to manage tasks with minimal supervision.\nWFH Set-Up:\nComputer with at least 8GB RAM, an Intel i5 core processor/AMD Ryzen 5 Processor and up.\nInternet speed of at least 40MBPS\nHeadset with an extended mic that has noise cancellation and a webcam\nBack-up computer and internet connection\nQuiet, dedicated workspace at home\n\n\nYour Superpowers:\nAdvanced proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D floor plans and wiring diagrams.\nStrong analytical skills with Excel, including formulas, data manipulation, and reporting.\nExcellent attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings.\nReliable, focused, and able to manage workload without distractions.\nProactive communicator comfortable with digital collaboration tools (Zoho Cliq, WhatsApp, email).\nFamiliarity with fire alarm systems and their integration into AutoCAD drawings.\nYou should apply if… \nYou enjoy translating complex, varied data sources into precise technical drawings.\nYou thrive in a remote, fast-paced environment requiring autonomy and attention to detail.\nYou want to contribute to a company that values reliability and quality in project delivery.\nYou have a passion for improving operational workflows through focused, expert support.\nYou are comfortable navigating multiple communication channels and project management tools.\n\nWhat to expect...
