Description of the role

Dynamic and strategic leader to lead all marketing & sales aspects in the different therapeutic areas (Gastroenterology, Dermatology, Rheumatology). This role demands a visionary with a robust understanding of the pharma market combined with the agility to utilize all available channels for an effective marketing strategy. The Autoimmune Leader will not only pave the path for new brands but also set the standard for innovative approaches within the pharmaceutical industry.

Performing sales managerial tasks related to the product in a given geographical area, achieving goals through the implementation of the drug's strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership: Understanding and facilitating marketing community interactions that engage and inspire positive performance, setting high expectations and ensuring the best customer experience. Responsible for establishing current and long-range objectives that will enable reaching and exceeding the objectives.Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with cross functional teams - medical affairs, market access, to ensure alignment and maximize the impact of the brand strategies to allow flawless execution.Strategic Planning: Overseeing & determining the strategic vision of all brands. From the customer plan and business plan to incorporating market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights. Ensure the teams collaborate well and are in close contact with the regional teams to adapt and refine the global strategies, to fit the specific needs and dynamics of the local market.Innovation Management: Ensure the team members identify and implement innovative techniques and technologies to reach and educate our target audiences effectively.Omni-Channel Marketing: Ensure the leverage of digital, social, and traditional channels to engage healthcare professionals and patients, tailoring messages appropriately for each audience.Performance Analysis: Track performance against objectives, utilizing metrics and analytics.Market Insight: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive activities, and regulatory developments that impact the therapeutic area.Stakeholder Engagement: Support all marketing functions in building and maintaining relationships with key external stakeholders, including KOLs, patient groups, and professional associations.Ethical conduct: Maintain strict adherence to all relevant procedures and regulations, ensuring all activities are fully compliant with local and international standards.Sales: Achievement of territorial goals, participation in planning and spatial planning. Implementation and coordination of the activities defined in the marketing plan from the sales side. Define the framework of the sales process and meet the set goals (SPP) Making forecasts, sales data analysis. Managing the work of medical visitors working in the field on team and individual level, encouraging teamwork, organizing group meetings, coaching, developing, motivating and evaluating representatives. Participation in the collaborative multi-function brand team. Budget management, compliance with defined limits. Liaising with other functional units (marketing, finance, compliance, market research, medical department, etc.). Participation in the Customer Dialogue Planning process, supervision of the transfer ("equip") phase. Participation in regular strategic meetings of managers with sales responsibilities. Professional contact with opinion leaders in the therapeutic field. Ad-hoc participation in projects and, where necessary, coordination of projects. Participation in the selection process of new employees.

Job Qualifications

Professional Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a marketing role within the pharmaceutical industry.A track record of successful pharmaceutical product launches, demonstrating proficiency in managing and executing comprehensive go-to-market strategies is an advantage.Direct responsibility for marketing in the gastroenterology therapeutic area, with prior experience in this field being a significant advantage

Educational Background:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or scientific discipline.An MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is highly desirable.
