Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications, skills & experience:
Engineering qualification or equivalent industrial engineering or maintenance experience, preferably with Robotics
Several years experience working in a Customer Service environment
Previous management/supervisory experience
Project management experience
Strong communication and leadership skills, including the ability to liaise with all levels of staff
Understanding OH&S requirements
Understanding of financial outcomes and ability to meet critical deadlines
Availability and willingness to travel to customer sites predominantly in NSW and QLD but also throughout the greater APAC region when required
Minimum 3-5 years as supervisor or project manager
The Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced supervisor to join our AGV Customer Service team as an AGV Service Supervisor. This role reports to the Service Manager and is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Northern Region AGV Service team. This role is based in our office in Belrose, but will require regular travel to our customer sites. The key responsibilities of this role include:
Manage Service Engineers and Field Service Technicians in the Northern Region to achieve customer satisfaction and growth
Coordinate the team’s work schedules and assign work to ensure that contracted response times are met
Provide leadership, advice, coaching and support to the AGV Service team to achieve performance objectives and promote a positive team environment and culture
Travelling to customer sites to provide hands on service and support for breakdowns, servicing, modifications and spare part sales as required to meet client and project requirements
Prepare quotations and estimates for upgrades, changes, spare parts, installations, repairs and customer support as required
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal parties
Identify opportunities to increase level of support to existing customers and new business leads
Assisting the Service Manager with working within budgets and towards targets
Conduct half yearly and yearly performance reviews for each team member
Complete reporting and administration tasks as required
Monitor and maintain safe-working practices for the AGV service team and contract staff at all times
Ensure compliance with all health & safety legislation
Manage modernisation projects in service as required, creating schedules, managing budget, and managing projects team members for execution to specification
