You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our e-commerce platforms perform across various browsers and devices through state-of-the-art automation tools. **What you’ll do:** + Collaborate with teams to analyze requirements, create and execute test cases, report and track quality issues. + Work with business partners, product owners and squad members to thoroughly understand the product, workflow, business requirements and software specifications. + Validate systems for functional and non-functional requirements including security, reliability, performance, cross-browser compatibility for our web applications to ensure exceptional customer experiences, the latter typically via BrowserStack. + Plan, write and execute automated software test scripts to confirm quality and conformance to requirements and specifications including edge cases using frameworks such as Selenium. + Integrate Cucumber for behavior-driven development (BDD) and manage feature files with Gherkin. + Generate detailed test execution reports using Serenity and integrate automated tests into the Jenkins CI/CD pipeline for continuous execution, where you will configure and maintain automation test environments. + Conduct UX and API testing, typically against JSON web service calls, and maintain a robust regression test suite to ensure existing functionalities remain unaffected by updates. + Proactively identify risks in projects, suggest preventive measures to mitigate quality issues, and track bugs and other non-conformance through tools such as Atlassian JIRA, providing actionable feedback to developers. + Actively participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions across system call chains. + Perform exploratory testing alongside automation to identify edge cases and unexpected behaviors. + Research and follow latest security and software testing trends; perform best-practice research to support team goals. + Responsible for other tasks related to assigned systems and other duties as assigned. **Requirements:** + Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics or equivalent work experience + 4+ years of automated software testing using tools like Selenium and Jenkins to test web applications + Proven experience in scripting, programming concepts and automation testing frameworks like Selenium or Serenity + Strong knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools on a good general tech savvy foundation + Solid understanding of web fundamentals using tools like Postman and web debug tools + Demonstrate knowledge of testing, version control and defect management practices + Go-getter mindset to take on challenges and identify, research, and resolve problems individually or with cross –functional teams + Team player with excellent verbal/written communication and analytical skills + Hybrid work schedule and some travel **This is a h** **ybrid position with an expected schedule of: M, F remote, Tu, W, Th in office** **_Why join us?_** We don’t just “talk the talk!” We’re an award-winning company (recently named a Glassdoor Best Place to Work in 2023) that truly cares about our people - That’s why we offer best-in-class benefits and perks that will support you and your family.
